My Story

I’ve walked this path myself, which is why I can walk beside you on yours...

I grew up in a conservative, Spanish-speaking Catholic home in Los Angeles, California. Catholic school, going to weekly confession, even dreaming of becoming a nun at 16. My entire world revolved around faith. But that faith also taught me to see my body and my desires as sinful, leaving me ashamed and disconnected from myself.

At 18, when I had sex for the first time, everything shifted. The skies parted, the angels sang! I mean, it wasn’t perfect, but it was freeing. For the first time, I thought, How can something that feels this connecting and alive be wrong? That moment sent me on a journey.

By 21, I was a sex educator. I earned a degree in Gender and Women’s Studies, ran a sexual wellness boutique for 4 years, and later completed my Master’s in Social Work. Over 15 years in this field and now 6 years coaching women, men, and couples, I’ve learned this: our sexuality is not something to be ashamed of. It’s where our power lives!

But like many of us raised in sexual repression, I swung to the other extreme, seeking validation, intensity, and love through sex and relationships. Eventually, that led me to recovery from sex and love addiction, where I began doing the deep inner work of healing the wounds beneath my patterns. Learning self-honesty. Rebuilding integrity. Learning to love from wholeness, not hunger.

Today, my work is rooted in both my personal healing and a spiritual belief system that honors sexuality as sacred. My recovery taught me that integrity and living in alignment with your truth is the foundation of real freedom and connection. I’ve walked this path myself, which is why I can walk beside you on yours. I support my clients from a place of deep love; guiding them to release shame, embrace their desires, and fully embody the most authentic, integrous version of themselves.

I finally became comfortable with my own sexuality, and learned to truly embrace it

Intimacy has always been a struggle for me, an oppressive upbringing and general lack of trust had set up barriers that Jocelyn and I worked diligently at each session to break down. Every week I looked forward to learning more about myself, what I needed, and how to improve my relationship, but in all honesty I was improving myself as an individual. Through this program I gained a firm understanding of what my goals are in intimacy, and the physical steps I need to take to get there. Learning how to give myself assignments outside of the coaching sessions helped keep me accountable throughout the week, and create concrete change in my life. I finally became comfortable with my own sexuality, and learned to truly embrace it, and I want to say THANK YOU for giving me the safe space that guided me towards the path of a powerful and curious queer woman. This program has substantially improved my relationship with my partner, with the tools I learned in session we are now more open with one another and optimistic about our future. I am so happy with the motivation I got in our sessions to finally be more explorative with my body and what it enjoys, and it has eased a lot of worry within my own relationship. Sessions with Jocelyn were a game-changer

I decided to begin Dating and Intimacy coaching because relationships were something I felt a lot of insecurity and fear around, despite being confident and outgoing in other aspects of my life. While in this rut, dating was something I avoided. Sessions with Jocelyn were a game-changer. Through her thoughtful curriculum, I was able to understand old patterns and question limiting beliefs that have been holding me back in dating, all while in a gentle and supportive environment. For example, an old pattern that was brought to light was recognizing in myself co-dependent tendencies where I would prioritize not hurting someone above my feelings about the situation. Each week, we took a different path to set goals, understand past/present, and work to manifest the future. She was great at tailoring topics and homework to most effectively help me and my situation. Her expertise and demeanor created a completely safe space to discuss fears and insecurities that had otherwise been packed away in my mind. Incredibly grateful to have gone through the program and will hold lessons learned close (and likely referring back often!) while navigating dating and relationships. Jocelyn's program was truly transformational for me

Jocelyn's program was truly transformational for me. I was having a very tough time dating and I was frustrated by the fact that I couldn't figure out why. Once I started working with Jocelyn and going through her in depth program, I was so clearly able to see all of the resentments I held and the ways I felt like I couldn't show my true self and feelings to the men that I was dating. This program changed my life. I was struggling with talking about my feelings, I knew very little about my body and what I liked and didn't like. I didn't know how to communicate my needs and I didn't like to take up space. I can't even put into words how much this program and Jocelyn has changed my life. The get-to-do's were tailored to my needs, sessions were intimate, and she never made me feel like a bother with my a billion voxer messages. I came into this program with a lot of guilt and shame that I couldn't seem to overcome. I hated the way I looked. If I am completely honest, I hated myself for not waiting until marriage like I was told to do. I hated so much about myself that I thought this feeling was normal.
